So last night I just could not get myself comfortable… I woke up at about 1am screaming, but mommy and daddy came right to my rescue to soothe me – they’re the best. I fell back to sleep but was woken up again at about 2:30am because something was bothering me – and I started screaming again… This time – mommy got her blanket and pillow and slept with me on my doggie bed – boy, that lady surely loves me. After mommy laid down with me I slept the rest of the night away….
I don’t have much of an appetite today (I did eat some yogurt, doggie cookies, and a bit of canned food) , but I rather prefer to sleep my day away on my big doggie bed – whilst mommy is cleaning the house… my little sister is snuggled up with me, I love cuddling with her…

If it happens again, you should ask your mom if the vet gave her some gabapentin. We didn’t use that w/ our Abby, but a lot of folks here on Tripawds did. (We had Tramadol and Metacam for Abby.) Folks who had dogs screaming (due possibly to phantom pain) said the gabapentin really helped.
That’s nice of your mom to sleep with you. You look like a cuddle bug!

Mom has me on Tramadol, Gabapentin, and Deramaxx… Momma believes that it may of been phantom pain too – I just hate how upset she gets when I’m like that…
